• Suing Big Corporate Polluters - First it was tobacco, then fast food, now lawyers are looking at big car makers, oil companies, and utilities. With more than fifteen cases pending, big corporations with a history of polluting the environment are nervously looking over their shoulder.
• BMW Hydrogen Car - BMW is soon to release their attempt to be greener, with the recent announcement of the BMW Hydrogen 7 vehicle. In 2007 there will be a limited number of hydrogen cars offered to customers, with reports that the vehicles will be leased, rather than sold, because of the high costs.
• Tesla Motors Electric Car - The electric car manufacturer, Tesla Motors has completely sold out the "Signature One Hundred" series of limited edition sports cars after just three weeks.
  
• Chevy Tahoe Competition - Sounds like a pretty good marketing gimmick for Chevrolet, and it probably would have been a few years ago. But people are starting to see big gas guzzlers for what they are: a blight on the environment.
• Toyota Camry Hybrid - It's really only motorists that feel strongly about the environment and the impact they have on it that are prepared to pay the extra to own a hybrid, and having such small selection of makes and models to choose from makes them even less attractive.
• General Motors Energy Solution - One of the largest auto makers in the world GM, recently announced its plan to work towards energy independence. Rather than releasing something "cool" and hybrid like Toyota's Prius vehicle, they are taking the path of fuelling the current vehicles on the road and those to come with plant-based ethanol fuel.
• Hybrid Car Demand - The Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is struggling to keep up with the demand for its hybrid powered cars. The environmental blessing of a gas crisis has encouraged consumers to look for more gas friendly vehicles like the popular Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrid.
• Hybrid Car Talks - GM and Toyota - With oil on the up and oil supplies always on the way out, I'm surprised big car makers havnt pursued more economic cars with a passion! They are starting to trikle out, but hybrid cars should be a part of the mainstream.. for the environment.. and for the sake of leaving a bit of oil in the ground.
